The area of Achillio owns rich mythological, historical and archaeological past. Achillio according to mythology belongs to the Kingdom of Homer’s hero Achilles who started Troian war with Myrmidones.

• It is located in the centre of the country and in distance of 30 minutes from the airport Aghialos Volos.
• In a distance of three hours from the international airport Athens Eleftherios Benizelos.
• In a distance of three hours from the airport of Thessaloniki.
• Ten minutes by boat to the beautiful Pelion.
• Thirty minutes for Skiathos.
• There is daily cruise for the islands Sporades by the company “Elisabet Cruises”.
